Welcome!

My name is Meen Wook, and I am passionate about research on understanding urban heat mitigation and ecological benefits of green infrastructure at various scales using statistical/simulation methods.

Urban environments consist of built areas and green infrastructure, and it is important to balance these two spatial elements to provide better living environments to urban residents. However, green infrastructure’s role may be limited in urban areas due to its low surface cover proportion and weak interconnectivity. In this context, my research focuses on examining how to maximize green infrastructure’s climate and environmental benefits and how to equally distribute them to all residents.
